Planning a society trip to the North Wales coast
The coast between Conwy and Prestatyn is a classic away day or weekend for societies from the North West, with two championship links, a Braid parkland and cheaper courses within a few miles of each other.
Where to base yourselves
Stay in Llandudno
Maesdu and North Wales Golf Club are about a mile from the town centre, Conwy is 2.5 miles across the estuary, and Rhos-on-Sea 3 miles east.

Play on the way in
Prestatyn and Abergele sit at the eastern end, 19 and 10 miles from Llandudno, so they're the first courses you reach coming along the A55.
